Support staff positions are more likely to be full time office based by the nature of the jobs requirements.

Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Leeds and Ilkley base
Salary Range: Competitive dependant on experience
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm 5 days a week

LCF Residential is currently recruiting for 3 Conveyancing Assistants, we have two vacancies in our Leeds office and one position to fill in our Ilkley office.

The role will involve providing administrative support to the Head of Department and other fee earners in the team, undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department. The role will involve performing all duties and functions to ensure the smooth running of the team and assisting in providing a top-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Files creation
  • Drafting contract packs
  • Searches and completion statements
  • Post exchange completion work
  • Corresponding with clients, third parties and agents via telephone / written correspondence and, at times, in person.
  • General supportive duties as assigned by the fee earners you will be supporting

About you:

As a Conveyancing Assistant you will be an ambitious and innovative candidate who is looking for an opportunity to challenge themselves in a high performing organisation.

Ideally you will have –

  • Previous experience working in a conveyancing or legal environment
  • Solid understanding of property law and the conveyancing process
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for legal and administrative tasks
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
